Areca Nut Plates are made from the leaf sheath of the Areca Nut Palm Tree. Our plates are sourced sustainably from Jhapa, Nepal.
Areca Nut Leaf Plates do not require the cutting down of any trees. Instead, leaf sheaths are collected from the forest floor, then dried, cleaned, and heat stamped into various shapes. No glues or chemicals are used in the manufacturing process.
After use, Areca Nut Plates can be washed and reused about 3 times. When finished with the plates, simply compost them in your backyard compost pile or municipal compost facility.
